Our old stone-built cottage has been completely renovated and refurbished. From very humble beginnings with space for a farmer and his donkey, we can now accommodate up to four people. There is a mezzanine bedroom with double bed and views over the farm and over to the Mediterranean.
The casita has a sweet little kitchen with a gas hob and microwave, local artisan pottery, wine glasses and tumblers, a large selection of pots and pans, along with a traditional Spanish paella and tapas dishes.
We provide complimentary olive oil from our farm and a small pot of home made jam for your breakfast. You can buy free range eggs and more home made jam from us as well as fresh herbs and vegetables from the gardens. You can eat your meals inside in the cool or out under a canopy of vines. The mezzanine bedroom is found at the top of beautiful made to measure steep stairs with wrought iron rails. This loft space has views across the delta and over to the sea and below it there is a sofa bed for either a second couple or children. There is a log burner for cooler nights in the winter and spring and it has a pile of olive wood beside it, waiting to be used. There is a really large bathroom with oodles of towels and just outside the casita we have converted the old “balsa” into a swimming pool where you can cool off. There is Satellite TV and a DVD player as well as cards, puzzles, a small selection of DVDs and a large selection of books.
